Simon Clayfield is an experienced and talented maker of Victorian red wines, and under his own label he crafts classically elegant and exotically spiced Shiraz of considerable longevity. The 2012 reds deliver a delightful and cerebral marriage of classic western Victorian shiraz character with some Rh™ne-inspired winemaking philosophy. At their best, Clayfield wines can reveal similar hallmarks to the very finest expressions from the northern Rh™ne.
