Simple, cooked and jammy cabernet whose minty, plummy aromas precede a sappy, greenish palate of medium weight, given some sweetness through its vanilla oak. Simultaneously under and overripe.
Ripe, vibrant blackberry, cassis and plum-like fruit with just a hint of raisin is married with sweet chocolate and vanilla oak, delivering a pleasing length of juicy flavour. Uncomplicated, but short-term.
Floral aromas of violets and jammy red and black berry fruits are backed by herbal nuances and cedary oak. Full to medium in weight, it’s smooth and supple, with some richness and presence of uncomplicated fruit, with a firmish spine of powdery tannins.
Honest and generous, but slightly raw and uncultivated, with a minty cut of cassis, plum and blackberry flavour backed by toasty vanilla oak. With a violet-like perfume, it’s richly ripened, slightly meaty and raisined, but still delivers a good length of fruit backed by firm, drying tannin.
A very flavoursome, approachable and balanced early-drinking cabernet with a ripe, juicy expression of blackberries, plums and cassis supported by some sweet, polished vanilla/cedar oak and backed by suggestions of dried herbs and tobacco. Long and vibrant, with sweet fruit neatly entwined with creamy oak and fine-grained, powdery tannins, it finishes with refreshing acidity and a hint of mocha.
Very ripe, intense flavours of slightly baked plums and berries are sumptuously knit with fresh vanilla oak, delivering a smooth, relatively juicy palate supported by supple, loose-knit tannin that finishes with slightly meaty, currant-like and greenish notes.
Generous, approachable and brightly lit, with a vibrant perfume of violets, cassis, redcurrants, raspberries and mulberries backed by lightly dusty herbal notes and creamy vanilla/cedar oak. Smooth, fine-grained and elegant, its fresh, dark-fruited palate knits tightly with measured oak and a dusty backbone, finishing with lingering berry and plum flavours.
