$45.00Jeremy’s score 90/100A finely crafted pinot whose heady, floral bouquet of raspberries, cherries and sweet red rose petals is offset by restrained cedar/vanilla oak. Medium in weight, it’s smooth and unctuous, with a gentle but mouthfilling expression of pristine small red fruit that drives with softness and suppleness down a fine, pliant spine towards a finish of red licorice and gentle but brightly lit acids that will become savoury over time.

$65.00Jeremy’s score 92/100A complete, polished and stylish pinot whose heady, floral aromas of raspberries, red cherries, underbrush and dried herbs reveal a hint of citrus. Charmingly round and generous, its unctuous, measured palate of vibrant red fruits and faintly charry oak extends with remarkable length and movement towards a lingering savoury finish. A significant step upwards for this vineyard from a vintage that proved very challenging to many. Hesket enters the top bracket of Victorian pinot. More herbaceous than when first tasted, but a good wine.
