Genuinely tight, finely balanced, austere and refreshing chenin blanc; in itself no small achievement. There’s a dusty herbal aspect to its lightly tropical aromas, while its palate is generous and approachable, with some varietal vegetal notes behind its tropical/melon/apricot flavours. Long and dry.
A clean and refreshing wine whose herbaceous aromas of tinned tropical fruits are backed by shaded nuances of capsicum. Forward, juicy and very slightly sweet, it’s both very ripe and herbal, with some pleasingly intense tropical and lemon flavours backed by grassy influences. Finishes clean and refreshing, with lingering pear-like fruit.
A typically fruity and confectionary chenin blanc with lightly grassy aromas of stonefruit and lemon. Soft and juicy, its mouthfilling palate of fresh tropical and peachy flavour finishes with pleasing length and smooth acids.
Generous, dry and easy drinking, with ripe, confectionery and tobaccoey, melon-like fruit backed by a light grassiness and lightly smoky vanilla oak, this soft, approachable and forward young chenin finishes smooth and gentle, with no hard edges.
A pristine, floral and lightly grassy bouquet of melon and mango, pear and apple reveals a hint of gooseberry. Underpinned by a fine chalkiness, the palate is round, juicy and generous, with a bright presence of citrusy flavour that finishes dry and savoury with a tight line of acidity.
Ripe and juicy, with plenty of varietal flavour and length, this marginally sweet chenin has rather a pungent bouquet of nectarine, peach and melon offset by rather grassy, vegetal nuances. More restrained, the palate delivers a creamy, if slightly viscous presence of peach/melon fruit wrapped in a soft acidity. It finishes with lingering notes of cashew and a hint of sugar.
