Dusty aromas of lightly herbal and pear and gooseberry-like fruit precede a lively, juicy but finely restrained palate brightly lit with lightly grassy and tropical flavours backed by suggestions of passionfruit and lemon. Made in an unwooded style, it’s balanced, smooth and seamless, and finishes with refreshing acidity.
Slightly forward and candied, this rather toasty and buttery young blend backs its juicy, generous flavours of passionfruit and lychees with meaty, leesy undertones and fresh cut grass influences, with perhaps a shade of buttery, vanilla oak. It should develop neatly, fleshing out with more length and richness, while its refreshing lemon sherbet and lightly mineral finish provide some attractive punctuation.
Dusty, slightly cheesy and lacking great intensity, this apparently overworked and slightly bitter white blend offers some bright, forward honeydew melon-like flavour but lacks freshness and intensity down the palate, finishing with green, menthol-like notes.
Complex, meaty and savoury, with a flinty, chalky bouquet of lime juice and melon backed by nuances of bathpowder and lemon. ItÕs fine, shapely and austere, with a schisty texture beneath its lightly grassy expression of melon/gooseberry flavour, finishing with fresh acids, a lingering funky, meaty aspect and a hint of brine.
Warm and generous, this big, broad and sumptuous dry white has a herbal, faintly mineral and reductive bouquet of melon and lemon sherbet with undertones of cut grass and a skinsy, green-fruited aspect. ItÕs rather warm and luscious, filling the mouth with fruit but tends to lack tightness and focus towards the finish.
Heavily worked, this smoky, rather oxidative and leesy, cheesy young white has a pungent, wild and funky bouquet of gooseberries and passionfruit with nutty, creamy undertones. It’s moderately long and profoundly textured, with a meaty expression of apple, melon and Packham pear flavours finishing with savoury, meaty influences, but without its customary freshness or focus.

ItÕs elegant and fruit-driven, with a pleasingly long and vibrant core of fruit underpinned by a lick of wet slate and punctuated by a fresh cut of tightly integrated lemony acid.
An elegant oak-matured semillon whose delicate, dusty and faintly smoky bouquet of citrus fruits, gooseberries and passionfruit are knit with creamy, nutty oak and a light grassiness. ItÕs long and brightly lit, with fresh melon and gooseberry flavour underpinned by nutty cashew/vanilla oak, extending smooth and creamy towards a fresh cut of brisk, citrusy acids.
A pure, vibrant and tightly focused regional blend whose brightly lit and faintly herbaceous aromas of gooseberries, melon and lychees are backed by faintly charry oak and a hint of passionfruit. It’s long and intense, with gooseberry and lemony flavours underpinned by a fine dustiness, finishing with persistent flavours and a refreshing acidity.
