Underpinned by a crunchy, grainy backbone, its perfectly ripened flavours of black and red berries are handsomely backed by cigarboxy oak, extending long and drying towards a persistent, astringent finish. An outstanding cellaring prospect with an Old World feel.
A polished, stylish, Bordeaux-like cabernet whose dark, smoky and cedary aromas of cassis, blackberries, dark plums and cherries reveal a hint of blood plum, dried herbs and gravel. Long and smooth, with plush cassis, mulberry and liqueur chocolate-like dark berry and plum like fruit knit with cigarboxy oak and fine, drying tannins, it drives long and complete towards an emphatic finish of persistence, gravelly texture, harmony and class.
