Penfolds Bin 170 Kalimna Shiraz 2010
Jeremy’s score 97/100Unctuous and deeply layered, this plump and concentrated shiraz is smooth and gentle for its weight and intensity. A fiery, tarry core of dark plums, blackberries a small red fruits overlies nuances of minerals, red earthy and fresh cedar/mocha oak. ItÕs long and bloody, dripping with a dense presence of small berry/plum fruit with deftly handled chocolatey oak and fine, velvety tannins. Exceptionally well balanced.
