Jeremy’s score 85/100A rustic, developing merlot whose bouquet of cherries, cranberries and raisins reveals faintly leathery and herbal notes. The palate is a little hard and linear, with some slightly jammy aspects as well as under-ripe vegeal aspects supported by green-edged tannins and finished with acids that remain a fraction awkward. From a warmer season – perhaps a little too warm.

Underpinned by fine, loose-knit tannins, it reveals a juicy core of plums, berries and cherries knit with cedary oak, extending with purity and balance. Delicious.
