Very ripe and jammy with preserved fruit aromas of dark plums currants and prunes with meaty undertones Smooth and well made it is however quite baked dehydrated and as such is not especially varietal Supported by firmish plaint tannins it offers a relatively short presence of raisined fruit
An ageworthy savoury and astringent tempranillo whose earthy smoky and faintly meaty aromas of dark plums blackberries and dark chocolate reveal nuances of briar and dried herbs Medium in weight its still firm and grippy with a palate-staining presence of dark fruit backed by smoky reductive complexity and lingering suggestions of dark chocolate
Long elegant and fine-grained this deeply flavoured refreshingly brisk and acidic young red has a minty fragrance of violets and cassis blackberries briar and dark chocolate with a restrained background of vanilla oak Deeply concentrated and forward its full to medium in weight with translucent berryplum flavours framed by a very fine cut of drying powdery tannins It finishes with spicy notes of cloves licorice and a lingering meaty core of flavour
A youthful sleeper whose spicy slightly meaty fragrance of blueberries blackberries dark chocolates and blue flowers are backed by notes of licorice and turned earth A sumptuous long and persistent presence of black jelly bean-like flavour blackberries and dark plums cranberries and mulberries is supported by a firm fine-grained spine of pliant tannins finishing with fresh acidity Very good indeed
This early-drinking tempranillo lacks its usual mojo Medium to full-bodied its smooth and soft with earthy floral and faintly meaty aromas of dark plums black blue and red berries revealing a faint spiciness Supported by fine plaint loose-knit powdery tannins it’s brightly flavoured and moderately long building some depth and richness towards the finish
Medium to full-bodied this lively young tempranillo has an earthy meaty and faintly tobaccoey bouquet of blackberries briar dark plums and chocolates lifted by a scent of fresh rose petals and backed by a hint of mineral Underpinned by fine powdery tannins its juicy flavours of blueberries and blackberries finishes with pleasing length and a refreshing acidity
