Sweet fleshy varietal palate, a fraction stalky, with excellent length of red berry/cherry fruit, but a slightly extractive astringency turning to slight bitterness at the finish.

Bordering on the over-ripe, the palate packs great intensity and strength, finishing with a firm grip of fine-grained tannins.

Sappy, fleshy and juicy, it’s sweet and ripe, with some creamy viscosity and rather assertive vanilla oak. It finishes with some spirity warmth.
