An elegant, savoury and nutty blend whose delicate, lightly smoky, grassy passionfruit aromas reveal nuances of herbs, melon and citrus. It’s long, elegant and refreshing, with a reserved cut of fruit appropriately given a measured treatment of vanilla oak, before finishing clean and dry.
Stylish, flavoursome and vibrant white Bordeaux blend of translucent brightness and vitality. Its fresh, grassy aromas of gooseberries and passionfruit, plus its juicy, vibrant palate of tangy fruit are enhanced by suggestions of butter and citrus from a subliminal addition of chardonnay. Long and refreshing, it sits neatly above a fine, powdery backbone of chalky phenolics. Excellent shape and balance.
Vibrantly fruited and spotlessly clean, this elegant Margaret River blend has plenty of flavour and a genuine backbone of powdery extract. There’s a hint of herbaceousness and dustiness beneath its lifted aromas of passionfruit and mango, with a subtle background of vanilla oak. Finely crafted, it’s long and powdery, with nutty, citrusy fruit culminating in a lightly mineral finish with perhaps a suggestion of alcohol and sweetness.
Very restrained, dusty and delicate aromas of melon and lemon backed by a light grassiness. Fine and austere, it’s moderately intense, with lively melon and citrus flavours tightly wound around refreshingly austere acidity. Pleasing length and shape.
Spicy, spiky and estery, with tropical and herbal aromas backed by assertive and slightly disjointed vanilla oak. Rather sweet-sour, forward and angular, it has an awkward, rather fizzy and lemony mouthfeel that finishes warm and spirity.
A pure and pristine expression of this signature regional blend, with exemplary tightness and focus. Fresh aromas of gooseberries, melon and citrus and a dusty, nutty background of lightly creamy oak reveal faint herbal undertones. Its long, crystal-clear palate of tangy melon, citrus and delicate tropical fruit is underpinned by a fine chalkiness, finishing with delightfully fresh and zippy acids.
