Its vivacious fragrance of dark berries and plums, eastern spices and cracked pepper is gently backed by cedar/vanilla oak, while its lingering palate of blackberries, cassis and redcurrant flavour reveals a faintly sour-edged aspect. Finishing with a tightly integrated acidity, it’s supported by chocolatey oak and a gravelly backbone. Top value.
