A juicy, spicy and lightly tropical chardonnay whose intense melon, lemon and grapefruit flavours are backed by nutty vanilla oak and a sherbet-like texture of powdery phenolics. Round and juicy, it’s kept in shape by refreshing acidity, but lacks top-level style and focus.
Already showing some bottle-aged maturity, this tangy young chardonnay is presently overshadowed by oak and malolactic influences. Its bacony aroma of grapefruit and fresh tropical fruit reveals creamy undertones of leesy complexity, while and an assertive butterscotch character is evident on nose and palate. It’s developed and punchy, with pleasing length of flavour and a lively finish.
Delicate floral aromas of wheatmeal, sweet vanilla and buttery oak and undertones of grilled nuts precede a smooth, elegant and juicy palate of moderate depth and intensity. Its restrained peachy and lightly herbal fruit and creamy oak culminate in a slightly thin and spirity finish.

Another improved vintage of this label. Restrained aromas of peach, pineapple and lemon backed by nutty vanilla oak are lifted by a floral scent and lightly dusted with scents of cloves and cinnamon. Smooth, elegant and creamy, its vibrant, translucent expression of citrus, peach and melon flavour retains freshness and focus before finishing with bright, but gentle acids.
