A slightly varnishy medium-weight shiraz whose spicy aromas of blackberries raspberries and blood plums knits with fresh cedarvanilla oak Smooth and polished its measured and even with a palate of bright black and red berry flavours plums and sweet oak that becomes a little edgy towards the finish
Dusty earthy and herbal aromas of confiture-like fruit spearmint and marginally raw chocolatey oak precede a smooth medium to full-bodied palate whose jammy flavours of cassis blackberries and dark plums have a sweet confectionary aspect Its marginally too jammy and sweet perhaps more of a warmer climate style than typical Coonawarra
Firm structured and stylish this elegant and deeply fruited shiraz of medium to full body has a spicy slightly closed and earthy bouquet of blackberries mulberries and cassis with meaty leathery undertones Its long and palate-staining with an intense presence of dark fruits finely balanced cedarchocolate oak and a firm tightly integrated spine
Peppery and slightly jammy this typically medium to full-bodied Coonawarra shiraz has a peppery fragrance of raspberries cassis and fresh cedarvanilla oak lifted by scents of red flowers Its long and elegant with a crunchy backbone beneath its intense flavours of small black and red berries and chocolatey oak It should develop well
Medium to full-bodied firmish but polished an earthy peppery and faintly meaty presence of plush small black and red fruits and cigarboxy oak
Medium in weight with a peppery spicy bouquet of dark plums and berries backed by rather assertive cedary chocolatey oak Its modest depth of gentle spicy dark fruit flavour is overshadowed on the palate by its oak and excessively chunky extract Could have been much better
Ripe and juicy, with a spicy, slightly smoky expression of blackberries, blueberries and dark plums knit with mocha-like dark chocolate/vanilla oak. Medium to full in weight, itÕs smooth and polished, with a lingering, slightly sour-edged expression of fruit and undertones of cloves and cinnamon above a fine, drying chassis, finishing just slightly angular.
