A pretty, willowy and supple young shiraz whose heady, brambly and floral aromas of spicy fruit and aromatic oak precede an elegant and pristine palate whose juicy expression of raspberries, cherries and cassis are underpinned by fine, dusty tannins and smooth, chocolatey oak. It finishes slightly herbal and sappy.
Faultless, exaggerated and almost caricature-like, with a highly spiced and peppery presence of cherries, dark plums, redcurrants and small berries sweetly supported by cedar/chocolate/vanilla oak with undertones of mocha. Plush and forward, dark and juicy, it’s quite polished and minty, with a plump, juicy palate culminating in a slightly greenish, angular and acidic finish of tomatoey and cherry bush flavour.
Savoury and Rhne-inspired, this charmingly balanced and measured shiraz has a pure, delicate and spicy bouquet of small black and red berries, fresh cedar/vanilla oak lifted by scents of violets and white pepper. Long, smooth and evenly ripened, with a subtle presence of sweet cassis, raspberries, cherries and blood plums knit with lightly smoky, cedary oak and supple tannin, it finishes with a hint of tomato stalk and a fresh, crunchy acidity.
A slightly old-fashioned but savoury shiraz whose rather closed, earthy and leathery bouquet of blackberries, dark plums and chocolate oak reveals a hint of iodide. Dense, faintly sour-edged flavours of plums and blackberries with meaty undertones knit with chocolate/cedar oak, finishing slightly lean, with pleasing length and a faint mineral note.
