Simple grassy varietal sauvignon blanc whose light passionfruit and gooseberry aromas and easy-drinking, juicy and clean-finishing palate are typically herbaceous and refreshing.
A generously flavoured, rounder and slightly oilier expression of sauvignon blanc with a pungent, grassy and lightly sweaty aroma of passionfruit, cassis and gooseberries. Its viscous, fleshy palate offers plenty of intense primary fruit flavour over nettle-like and grassy nuances, but could use a little more definition and raciness.
Simple and confectionary, with lightly grassy aromas of passionfruit before a rather cloying palate that finishes without length or intensity.
Tight and well defined, this shapely young sauvignon blanc has a lightly herbal fragrance of gooseberries, cassis, violets and minerals. Its vibrant, tangy palate is long and finely sculpted, delivering a pleasingly complex expression of varietal flavour and earthy complexity punctuated by crisp and refreshing acids.
Lightly grassy and citrusy, but lacking length and freshness. ThereÕs an estery aspect to its aroma, while it does finish rather short and coarse.
Honest and flavoursome, but rather spicy and estery. Fresh, moderately intense gooseberry-like aromas with herbaceous, lightly sweaty undertones and a hint of minerality precede a juicy, forward and generous palate with a sound length of lemony fruit and a tangy sherbet-like finish.
Very spicy and estery, with sharpish aromas of gooseberries and tropical fruits backed by herbaceous notes. ItÕs round and juicy, but then becomes a little awkward, lacking genuine freshness, brightness and focus. It finishes with a clean acidity.
Rather thin and lacking its usual intensity of fruit, with a lightly grassy, delicate and neutral bouquet preceding a simple, confectionery palate of passionfruit and gooseberry flavour, underpinned by a fine chalkiness.
