Deeply flavoured and varietal, with a dusty, spicy and floral bouquet of dark plums, cherries, rhubarb and cranberries knit with fresh cedar/vanilla oak and lifted by scents of red and blue flowers. Underpinned by pliant, dusty tannins, itÕs smooth and juicy, with charming earthy complexity, depth of fruit and genuine elegance, finishing with soft acids and a lingering firmness of structure.
Measured, cultivated and likely to flesh out well. A heady, rose garden perfume of fresh cherries, raspberries, underbrush and sweet cedary oak backed by nuances of dried herbs and a hint of green bean. Long and elegant, supported by fine, supple tannin, its juicy expression of cherries, raspberries, blueberries and dark plums finishes with fresh acids and a hint of beetroot.
A deeply aromatic bouquet of sweet cherries, rose petals, dusty oak backed by nuances of musk and dried herbs precedes a faintly herbal but long and fine-grained palate whose charming depth and presence of bright, spicy berry/cherry fruit reveal some slightly sappy and metallic edges. Should flesh out, but likely to retain some greenish aspects.
Deeply flavoured, elegant and stylish Ð one of the finest pinots yet to emerge from South Australia. Its musky, potpourri-like aromas of pristine red berries, cherries and cedary/vanilla oak reveal suggestions of dried herbs. ItÕs smooth and supple, with silky, sappy expression of concentrated fruit tightly wound around fine powdery tannins. It finishes long and fresh and will certainly build in the bottle.
Elegant, supple and fine-grained, with a sweet, floral and faintly confectionary bouquet of red berries and cherries supported by cedary oak. ItÕs long and finely balanced, with fresh, lightly spicy flavours of red cherries and tight-knit oak underpinned by pliant tannins. It finishes with fresh acids and a subtle note of dried herbs. Just lacks the emphasis for an even higher rating.

Delicate spice and rose petal scents; pure and brightly lit cherries and berries, dusty tannins.
Pristine, rather pretty and perfumed, with juicy raspberry, cherry and citrus flavour, fresh vanilla oak and a fine, drying undercarriage. Long and supple.
