A very pretty medium to long term riesling with some stylish elements of austerity and racy acidity. Scented with a musky perfume of fresh lemon rind and lime juice, it presents a long and lingering palate whose refreshing citrus flavours are underpinned by a drying chalkiness. There’s plenty of juicy richness and pleasing concentration of flavour, all of which is neatly balanced by a racy acidity.
Scented with lemon blossom, orange candy and sherbet, this long, fresh and racy young riesling delivers a vibrant shade of brightly lit limey varietal flavour underpinned by a typical Eden Valley texture of fine, dry powder. Crisp and focused, it finishes with refreshing acidity and persistent flavour.
A fine, subtle and finely layered riesling that initially appears quite fragile before revealing the full extent of its texture, length and depth. Tightly focused, long and linear, this fine and bony riesling has a spicy, floral, slightly estery and candied bouquet with some slightly pungent mineral notes. Underpinned by a fine chalkiness, itÕs very subdued and complex, meting out fine layers of alluring fruit before finishing with lingering savoury qualities.
One of the best Henschke Ð fresh, vibrant and very floral. Its bright, clear aroma of lime, apple and mineral precede a elegant and dusty palate whose reserved expression of lime and apple extends long and lively towards a supple, gentle finish. ItÕs very stylish and streamlined, with a lingering core of delicate but pristine flavour.
Stylish and shapely, with a concentrated, musky bouquet of blue flowers, lime juice and minerals with slatey undertones. Long and racy, with fresh lime juice, lemon and apple-like fruit underpinned by a lick of minerality, it delivers richness and persistence before finishing taut and steely, with a well-defined austerity. Exemplary.
A very compete, stylish riesling of tremendous shape and elegance. Deeply perfumed, itÕs scented with white flowers, lavender, lime juice, pear and green apple skin backed by chalky nuances of spice and lemon rind. Long, gentle and tightly focused around a dusty undercarriage, its piercing flavours of citrus and fresh apple finish with clarity and brightness, with a racy cut of limey acid.
