Long and savoury, taut and shapely, with a dusty, musky and slightly funky presence of pear and apple flavour backed by a hint of oak. It finishes faintly soapy, with lingering notes of clove and cinnamon. Genuinely varietal.
Nutty, floral and spicy, with a plump but slightly angular and sour-edged palate that lacks genuine freshness and brightness.
Lightly floral aromas of apple, pear and tea-tin are backed by a spicy presence of cloves and cinnamon. Forward and candied, relatively simple and confectionary, itÕs moderately long and fine, finishing quite dry, nutty and savoury with just a hint of chalkiness. Slightly edgy, perhaps more of a grigio style.

Heady and perfumed, with a spicy, musky bouquet of rose blossom, pear and apple, this round and lustrous gris delivers brightness and richness of penetrative varietal flavour over a fine, dusty backbone that culminates in balance and elegance. ItÕs viscous but tempered, long and seamless.
A pretty, musky and floral pinot gris scented with rose oil, pear and apple skin. It’s restrained and translucently clear, delivering a good but not great length of flavour before finishing with gentle acids. Needs more drive for a higher rating.
Zesty aromas of lemon, pear and cinnamon, with hints of leesy complexity and sawdust. Its juicy, fleshy palate of intense pineapple, melon and apple-like flavours culminates in a well-defined finish of bright crystalline and mineral acidity. There’s some lingering fruit sweetness, but the wine is quite dry.
