A first-class riesling that ably marries the qualities of its two regions. ItÕs scented with a perfume of lemon, apple and pear, lavender and white flowers, with an underlying whiff of lime juice. Round and generous, with a translucently pristine palate of lemony and limey flavour extending along a taut line of acidity towards a tangy finish of lively acidity, itÕs very long, complete and finely composed.
Musky, floral pear, peach and apple with limey undertones and a fine chalkiness; long and elegant, with bright citrus fruits and racy acids.
Fragrant lavender, lime juice and lemon, apple and pear with chalky undertones; long and translucently clear, stylish and shapely, brisk and racy.
A powerful, long-term wine with a deep core of fruit and a wild, brambly bouquet whose spicy aromas of cassis, blackberries, dark plums and fresh cedar/vanilla oak reveal nuances of baked earth, dark olives and pepper. Framed by a fine, drying extract, its intense, ripe and juicy palate of dark fruit and sweet oak reveals a grenache-like fruit sweetness, finishing long and persistent with a lingering earthy aspect.
Particularly elegant and stylish, with a deeply perfumed, floral bouquet of sweet black and red berries knit with fresh cedar/vanilla oak and backed by suggestions of cracked pepper and charcuterie meats. ItÕs made in a smooth, supple Australian ÔburgundyÕ style; fine, silky and medium to full-bodied, with searingly intense, pristine flavours of small berries deftly backed by notes of pepper and spice, game meats and fine tannins.
Smooth and measured; vivacious black and red berries lifted by sweet, slightly toasty vanilla oak and cracked pepper; long and supple.
