    Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz 2003
    Jeremy’s score 91/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Smooth and approachable, this is a vibrant and silky shiraz whose pristine, peppery and slightly jammy Barossa fruit and fine tannins suit it perfectly for drinking now or over the next five years. Dusted with nuances of cinnamon and cloves, its lively flavours of raspberries, cassis and blood plums also reveal lightly meaty undertones able to express themselves against an appropriately modest oak background.

    Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz 2004
    Jeremy’s score 89/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

A typically spicy and measured red-fruited Lyndoch shiraz whose pleasingly rich but not exaggerated expression of raspberry, red cherry and plum-like qualities reveals undertones of menthol and mint. It’s lightly dusted with cloves and cinnamon, with rather a polished measure of creamy vanilla oak to boot. With a pleasing underlying structure, it will develop for a few years yet.

    Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz 2005
    Jeremy’s score 82/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Simple, slightly raw and angular, with sweet, jammy red and black berry flavours and sweet oak backed by nuances of cedar and cinnamon. Forward and juicy, it depends rather too much on its vanilla oak for length and sweetness on the palate. Honest enough, but lacking genuine balance.

    Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz 2006
    Jeremy’s score 88/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Ripe, minty and confectionery, with spicy aromas of sweet red and black berries knit with cedar/vanilla oak and backed by menthol-like undertones. Medium to full in weight, its long, ripe and juicy palate of sour-edged plums, cherries and blackberries culminates in a faintly greenish and metallic finish of assertive and slightly coarse tannin, plus just a hint of saltiness.

    Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz 2007
    Jeremy’s score 87/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Slightly cooked but honest and regional. Smooth, soft and approachable, with jammy, rather meaty flavours of blackberries and dark plums backed by sweet toasty vanilla oak, it lacks great length but is not without charm.

    Jeremy’s score 89/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Bright, fresh and rather polished, with a pristine and briary bouquet of blackberries, raspberries, plums and fresh vanilla/mocha/chocolate oak overlying suggestions of cloves and cinnamon plus a hint of mineral. ItÕs smooth and juicy, medium to full-bodied, with a pleasing length of intense berry/plum fruit backed by fine, firmish tannins.

    Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz 2009
    Jeremy’s score 86/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Jammy and currant-like, with lightly spicy aromas of blackberries and raspberries before a forward, soft and smooth palate that lacks genuine length and weight. It finishes with polish, freshness and brightness, but itÕs
    without truly ripe fruit.
