A soft, easy-drinking and crowd-pleasing style of shiraz. Its jammy nose of red and black berries, plums and light vanilla oak reveals some spice and perfume. Warm, generous and mouthfilling, is smooth, approachable palate is packed with vibrant flavour and framed by soft tannins and acidity. Uncomplicated, but fun.
This approachable and slightly jammy Barossa shiraz has a sweet fragrance of raspberries, cassis and plums backed by fresh vanilla oak and light cinnamon-like spiciness. Fine and supple, smooth and elegant, its medium-weight palate of lively sweet small berry/plum fruit and light vanilla oak is framed by supple, fine tannins.
An honest, flavoursome shiraz of moderate weight and fresh, but simple varietal character. Its spicy, earthy, rather jammy and slightly floral aromas of plums and berries overlie creamy nuances of vanilla oak. Juicy and fresh, overlying a grainy backbone, its lively palate lacks great length, but finish with fresh acids.
Ripe, smooth, sweet and juicy, with blackberries, plums and sweet vanilla oak backed by nuances of game meats and menthol. It’s slightly hollow, cooked and raisined, but has an approachable frame of smooth tannins.
