Slightly edgy but savoury and meaty with a juicy briary and faintly tomatoey bouquet of cassis raspberries white pepper musky spices and an almost exaggerated scent of red flowers Smooth and silky its long and even with deep dark fruit flavours finishing with notes of mint and menthol a faintly disjointed acidity but a pleasing intensity
Honest and regional but with a shade too much leafy vegetal influences Dusty earthy and faintly meaty its aromas of mulberries cassis dark plums and polished leather precede a sumptuously flavoured medium to full-bodied palate supported by pliant chalky tannins but finishing with dusty lightly leafy and tomatoey notes
Finely presented smooth and polished this tightly balanced shiraz has a slightly meaty earthy and spicy bouquet of dark berries plums and restrained cedary oak laced with a whiff of black pepper Medium to full-bodied its elegant and fine-grained delivering a fine length of fruit before a more savoury Rhney finish punctuated by a refreshing acidity
