    Creamy, complex ands alluring, this charming chardonnay opens a bouquet of brioche, baked apple, nougat and lemon blossom. It’s medium in body, already becoming deliciously toasty and creamy, extending long and crackly towards a savoury, dry finish of refreshing acidity. There’s a pleasing crunch about the bead, while the palate reveals a fine minerality. Really a classy wine, and at $70 retail is super competitive in terms of price.

    Evolved and complex this lean and rather funky winemaker-driven chardonnay should age well over the medium term Its meaty and reductive with layered scents of melon peach dried flowers and minerals While its oak is fractionally overt and its acids slightly edgy it will discover more balance with time It already reveals some appealing fleshiness and richness and should continue to build weight Keep it for a year to two yet
