Its piercingly intense palate of crystalline lime, pear and apple flavour is underpinned by lemon sherbet-like chalkiness, finishing taut and steely, with a hint of minerality and a suggestion of sweetness neatly balanced by fresh acidity.
Pristine, brightly lit and perfectly clear, this restrained but deeply flavoured riesling has a zesty, racy bouquet of lime and lemon pith lifted by fresh floral notes and backed by chalky nuances. It’s long and restrained, with perfectly focused, crystal-clear citrusy flavours extending over a fine dustiness towards a long and tangy finish of bright lime juice acids. It finishes with a pleasing balance and lingering suggestions of delicate dried herbs and lemongrass.

Rather tart and zesty, this tangy young wine has a lightly herby and grassy aroma of gooseberries, melon and cassis backed by a touch of vanilla oak. It’s forward and vibrant, long and flavoursome, although its lemony acids are just a fraction too assertive.
Made with 5% viognier and cropped at a miserly and frosted 1.5 tonnes per acre, this beautifully balanced, and tight-knit shiraz has a fragrance of sweet red cherries and raspberries, musky white pepper, cinnamon and clove with briary, meaty undertones. Its precise but willowy palate is brimful of sour-edged cherry fruit and musky, meaty complexity, with a creamy background of mocha and cedar oak, finishing long and savoury with surprisingly assertive fine-grained extract. and lingering notes of animal hide.
Astonishingly perfumed, scented with honeysuckle, apricot blossom and rose petals, cloves and cinnamon, with underlying meaty aromas of intense cassis, raspberries and boysenberries, undergrowth and farm floor. Fine-grained, long and stylised palate whose tightly focused small berry flavours and meaty, farmyard complexity intermesh with powdery tannins, building on the palate towards a lingering, savoury finish.
Ripe, generous and assertive, this northern Rhne-like blend has a meaty fragrance whose viognier-derived perfume enhances the muskiness and spiciness of its earthy, red berry shiraz. Despite its sumptuous texture and powerful flavours, it’s a silky, fine and elegant wine richly endowed with dark fruits and framed by firm, fine-grained tannins. Savoury, tightly focused and supremely balanced.
A first-rate wine of charm, focus and elegance. Its vibrant peppery perfume of pristine black and red berry fruits is both floral and spicy, revealing superbly integrated cedar/vanilla oak. Fine and supple, its smooth and silky palate bursts with intense flavours of blackberries, redcurrants and cassis wound tightly around some very classy and fine-grained tannins. Finishing long, with a persistent core of dark fruit and lingering undertones of fennel, anis and cinnamon, it’s almost too easy to enjoy now. Try to hang on to some, at least.
