A creamy, lightly oaked and faintly buttery bouquet of quince and cumquat, lemon and grapefruit precedes a juicy, uncomplicated palate whose lively, forward fruit finishes with smoothness and freshness.

Scented with white flowers, pear and apple, this gentle, medium-bodied chardonnay reveals a peachy, creamy palate wrapped in a refreshing acidity.
A long-term cabernet whose translucent, deeply scented bouquet of violets, cassis, cedar and vanilla overlies a hint of dried herbs. ItÕs smooth and elegant, with a meaty, gamey presence beneath its pristine expression of small black and red berry flavours. Tightly knit with cedary oak and firmish, pliant tannins, it extends with length and character towards a long, drying and finely astringent finish. Very complete.
Superbly long and artfully balanced, this exemplary Coonawarra cabernet reveals an alluring perfume of sweet red and black berries, dark cherries, fine-grained cedar/vanilla oak and earthy, tobaccoey undertones, Very smooth and seamless, its long, classically layered palate of deliciously sweet small berry flavour and faintly chocolatey oak is framed by a mouthcoating but pliant extract of crunchy tannins, finishing with a lingering core of sweet dark fruit and refreshing acidity.
Elegant and finely balanced, this rather stylish cabernet has a floral perfume of violets, mulberries, cranberries and restrained cedary oak backed by notes of crushed herbs and mint. ItÕs smooth and supple, with a long and sumptuous presence of mulberry, cassis and dark plum flavours tightly integrated with dusty cedar/vanilla oak and pliant, gentle tannins. ItÕs ageing well, retaining plenty of fruit sweetness and freshness, and finishes with lingering nuances of mint and cranberry.
A cooler year cabernet of elegance and balance. Faintly herbal, gravelly and mineral aromas of dark red and black berries, cedary oak and sweet floral notes precede a long and rather grippy palate underpinned by a bony, stony spine of drying tannin. Its slightly leafy expression of vibrant dark berry flavour and subtly entwined oak builds power and structure and it extends smoothly and evenly towards a vibrant and lively finish of refreshing acidity.
Very elegant and stylish, with the depth and structure suggestive of fine Saint-Julien. It opens with a dark, musly and mineral bouquet of cassis, blood plums and redcurrants lifted by heady scents of red and blue flowers and knit with cedar/mocha/dark chocolate oak. Supported by a fine, drying spine of firm tannin, its deep, beautifully poised core of blackberry, mulberry and cassis-like flavour extends with smoothness and polish towards a lingering savoury finish. Likely to build with time in the bottle, then age classically later on.
A traditional Coonawarra cabernet whose earthy, slightly meaty, leathery and dusty bouquet of developed dark berry fruits and plums, cedary oak and dried herbal notes reveals regional mint and menthol nuances. Underpinned by a drying, mouthwatering astringency, its powerful core of intense, almost bloody small dark berry and plum flavour eases towards a mineral and graphite-like finish. ItÕs unlikely to develop much further but has plenty of time ahead.
Underpinned by a tight-grained, ultra-fine and firmish spine, this classically fruit-drive Coonawarra cabernet slowly unfolds a dusty, faintly herbal bouquet of fiery cassis, red berries, dark plums and blackberries tightly knit with cedary, chocolatey and cigarboxy oak. Packed with fruit and flavour, itÕs long and juicy, with savoury, leathery undertones and a drying, finely balanced finish. Anything but a modern show pony style, itÕs a wine to watch as it slowly evolves in the glass.
