Impactful yet elegant, this generous, fruit-driven chardonnay reveals a wild and faintly meaty bouquet of punchy yellow stonefruit, lemon, creamy and nutty undertones and tightly knit oak backed by spicy notes of cinnamon and ginger. It’s round and unctuous despite its modest 12.5% alcohol, delivering richness, smoothness and creaminess down a pithy, powdery backbone before finishing faintly saline, but fresh and lively with lingering notes of lime and lemon.
Medium to full-bodied, underpinned by firmish bony tannins, its vibrant mouthfilling red and black berry fruit knits with cedary oak and fresh acids.
A vibrant, developing, delightfully flavoured and vital cabernet whose bright fragrance of violets, black and red fruits and cedary oak reveals a gravelly undertone. Smooth and polished, with a fine, firmish and silky undercarriage, it’s long, balanced and artfully finished with a refreshing acidity. Charming indeed and would have been huge value when released. This note was made when it was 8 years of age.
A smooth, stylish blend of red Bordeaux varieties that punches well above its price. Its fragrance of violets, cassis, dark cherries and red plums reveals a smoky, cedary vanilla oak influence, while its long, supple palate delivers a classically measured expression of dark berries, cherries and plums artfully knit with oak and tight-grained tannins that become more gravelly with aeration. ItÕs charming and approachable right now, but has the structure and balance to develop with at least five more years of age.
Ruby grapefruit, melon and lemon backed by cinnamon and matchstick oak. Elegant.
Frisky, medium-bodied and flavoursome, with fresh peach, grapefruit, melon and lemon with creamy, buttery undertones and a crunchy, chalky texture. Fresh and racy.
