  • Borgogno Langhe Freisa 2019
    Jeremy’s score 94/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $50.00

Made from freisa, a wild and rustic relative of nebbiolo, it quickly breathes to reveal heady aromas of red rose petals, eastern spice and perfectly ripened red cherries, raspberries and redcurrants with a whiff of blood plums and earthy, leathery nuances. It’s long and luscious, plush and generous, with a
flawless drive of vibrant fruit underpinned by a firmish spines of silky tannin. Against the odds, almost, it finishes soft and savoury, with a gentle acidity. Likely to build over the next 3-5 years. Truly exceptional value.

  • Borgogno Langhe Nebbiolo 2021
    Jeremy’s score 95/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $60.00

A stellar, sumptuous nebbiolo that steadily unfolds layers of perfume, flavour and texture. A heady scent of rose petals, redcurrants and dark cherries is lifted by notes of cinnamon and Moroccan spice. Medium to fullish in weight and supported by a spine of drying tannins that become more assertive and gravelly with aeration, it moves with richness and smoothness towards a savoury finish of exceptional length and refreshing acidity. If you’ve never understood what proper nebbiolo can deliver and don’t wish to pay the earth, it’s a fine place to start.

  • Bosward Barbera 2023
    Jeremy’s score 90/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $25.00

A dark, luscious barbera with a ripe and varietally correct expression of dark plums, cherries and berries that delivers a sumptuously flavoured, smooth and lingering palate punctuated by a characteristically bright acidity. There’s even a hint of bitumen.

  • Bosward Semillon 2024
    Jeremy’s score 90/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $30.00

This wine was a big, pleasant surprise. A vivacious aroma of lemon, melon and apple skin precedes a juicy, fresh and finely honed palate that extends with length and drive, delivering plenty of charming fruit, before finishing with a refreshing lemony acidity. There’s flesh, core and a fine underlying backbone. Enjoy now or over the next five or so years.

  • Bosward Shiraz 2023
    Jeremy’s score 89/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $30.00

Deep, dark and floral, this juicy, sweetly-fruited shiraz of medium to fullish weight is round, soft and generous, delivering a plump, vivacious core of blackberries, dark plums, redcurrants and cassis matched with sweet chocolate/vanilla oak and supported by a fine powdery backbone. Uncomplicated Barossa shiraz fun – very approachable, full of flavour and easy to enjoy.
