Stylish and silky, this evenly ripened cabernet has a pure, minty and violet-like bouquet of cassis, raspberries, redcurrants and fresh faintly smoky cedar/vanilla oak backed by a suggestion of crushed vine leaves. Long and measured, itÕs full to medium-bodied, with a long, restrained and dusty presence of small dark fruits knit with very fine tannins, finishing with a spicy notes of licorice and mint.
A traditional and stylish blend whose brightly lit, dark and earthy aromas of small berries, plums and cedary oak reveal a whiff of Lyndoch mintiness and a hint of mineral. ItÕs elegant and juicy, with a supple, almost jammy depth of small red and black fruits that builds richness towards the finish. Tightly integrated with cedar/chocolate oak, itÕs framed by genuinely firm, pliant and dusty tannins.
ThereÕs a depth and bloody intensity about this pristine, energetic blend that manages to flaunt the richness of its flavour while retaining genuine elegance and focus. Its intense, penetrative bouquet of cassis, blackberries, dark plums, mulberries and cedar/chocolate oak reveals minty, peppery undertones, while its sumptuous, linear palate is stained with a deep, dark-fruited core of flavour deftly knit with fresh cedar/chocolate oak. Supported by a firmish spine of drying tannins, itÕs long and persistent, with lingering suggestions of mint and menthol.
