    $85.00

Faintly herbal, almost minty aromas of red berries, red cherries and restrained cedar/vanilla oak reveal notes of cool herbs and bay leaf, then open further to show musky spicy notes. Soft and juicy, it’s a luscious, mid-weight pinot whose forward expression of small red fruits is especially pretty and supported by ethereally fine tannins. It just lacks the length and depth for an even higher rating.

  • Main Ridge Estate The Acre Pinot Noir 2022
    Jeremy’s score 96/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $90.00

The finest and most complete wine yet to appear under this label has style and structure suggestive of Premier Cru Burgundy. There’s an exotic, eastern element about its fragrance of red rose petals, red cherries, blood plums, raspberries, minerals and fresh cedary oak. Long and very complete, it’s smooth and polished, delivering layers of pristine small red fruits and plums supported by a firm, drying gravelly spine and culminating in a remarkably persistent, savoury and almost sour-edged finish.

  • Main Ridge Estate The Acre Pinot Noir 2024
    Jeremy’s score 94/100

    $90.00

Heady and floral, with intense aromas of red cherries, redcurrants, blood plums, with a whiff of mint, kirsch and beetroot lifted by eastern spice. Intensely flavoured, with piercing notes of red cherries and berries backed by cedary oak, excellent fine-grained slatey tannins and a hint of menthol, it extends with balance, length and drive of fruit in a medium-bodied, textural fashion with plenty of flesh and pleasing palate weight. As it builds in body and richness over the next 2-3 years it should shed much of its mint/menthol expression, settling into a charming and long-living style.

  • Main Ridge Estate Trueman Vineyard Chardonnay 2022
    Jeremy’s score 93/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $55.00

Restrained and elegant, complex and savoury, this alluring and fragrant chardonnay reveals a bright, waxy scent of lemon blossom, yellow peach, creamy nougat and vanilla oak. Medium-weight, it’s long, smooth and creamy, building richness towards its lingering savoury and nutty finish. More European in style, with a hint of oxidative complexity to enhance its floral, savoury nature.

  • Main Ridge Estate Trueman Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021
    Jeremy’s score 92/100

    $50.00

A pristine, vivacious and floral young pinot whose perfume of rose petals, red berries and cherries is backed by fresh bubblegum/vanilla oak. Medium in weight, it’s long, pliant and elegant, with a very New World expression of small red, black and blue fruits extending down a supple spine towards a lingering soft finish.

  • Main Ridge Estate Trueman Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022
    Jeremy’s score 94/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $55.00

Floral and spicy, this smooth, medium-weight pinot unfolds a faintly citrusy and sweetly oaked bouquet of raspberries and red cherries. Supported by a fine, kerbelly extract, its core of raspberries, maraschino cherries and strawberries builds intensity towards the finish, extending long and savoury, with a suggestion of mint, a lingering core of fruit and a fresh acidity.
