A riper chardonnay for this vineyard, whose crystalline fragrance of melon, lemon sherbet, cloves and ginger precedes a sumptuous, richly flavoured palate. ItÕs long and chalky, with intense flavours of melon, cumquat and quince culminating in a lingering finish of fresh, lemony acidity.
Translucently bright, with exceptional length and a chalky mineral undercarriage, this very pure and elegant chardonnay has a delicate nutty bouquet of melon, quince and lemon sherbet backed by nuances of lime juice and green olives. ItÕs long, lean and focused, with a slatey texture beneath its powerful core of impressively intense and crunchy flavours that finish with elegance and restraint.
A pure, pristine chardonnay with a vibrant, sweetly oaked bouquet of white peach, pear and nectarine backed by nutty, mealy, vanilla notes. Long and gentle, its stylish palate smoothly integrates fluffy, vivacious stonefruit and pear flavours with gentle oak and refreshing, soft acids, finishing with exceptional balance and charm.
Stylish and evenly paced, complex and deeply flavoured, this classically (if unusually) ripe Hunter chardonnay has a complex bouquet of melon, peach, lemon and tobacco leaf backed by restrained vanilla oak and a hint of cinnamon. ItÕs elegant and smooth, with a gentle but long and unctuous presence of vibrant stonefruit, melon and citrusy flavours tightening towards a lively, lemony finish. Just a fraction warm for an even higher rating.

Artfully made, long and silky, smooth and creamy, with mouthwateringly pure yellow peach, grapefruit and fresh buttery oak backed by suggestions of cinnamon and nutmeg. Wrapped in fresh lemony acids, itÕs underpinned by a fine, faintly slatey spine.
