Tightly sculpted around a long, minerally palate and a finish of searing acidity, this complex young riesling does require some cellaring. Its delicate bouquet of pear, lime juice and creamy, lees-derived bound sulphide complexity precedes a palate of focus and definition. Vibrant pear, apple and citrusy flavours finish long and tangy, with just a hint of soapiness.
Slightly angular and lacking its usual freshness, with a rather pungent and floral aroma of lime juice, pear and apple backed by musky spices, minerals and suggestions of lemon rind. Fractionally candied, its luscious palate of intense lime, lemon meringue and green apple flavours reveals some underlying mineral notes, finishing slightly angular with a cashew-like aspect.
A fine, textured, refreshing and mineral riesling likely to develop well. Its floral, lightly spicy aromas of lavender, pear, peach and apple precede a lean, focused palate whose tangy citrus flavours are underpinned by a bathpowdery chalkiness, finishing with taut, steely acids.
Spicy aromas of pear, lime and lemon with confectionary notes of sherbet precede a rather broad, round and juicy palate whose rich, slightly candied flavours lack genuine focus and freshness, finishing a little short and spicy.
A stylish and mineral riesling whose delicate bouquet of lemon sherbet, white flowers and citrus fruits reveals a suggestion of wet slate. ItÕs full-flavoured, deeply concentrated and assertively mineral, delivering a long, lingering presence of lemon, lime and grapefruit flavours that finishes with a briny, savoury tang.
Elegant and regional, this chalky and marginally sweet riesling has a faintly spicy and floral scent of apple and pear. Bright and forward, but a little angular and spicy in its youth, it fills the mouth with bright fruit wrapped in a racy acidity, finishing with mineral and slightly funky nuances. ItÕs well enough balanced to improve in the bottle.
Floral, sweet and candied aromas with underlying minerality precede a juicy, round and mouthfilling palate whose bright lime and lemon and faintly tropical fruits extend with linear focus down the palate towards a brisk finish of nervy acidity and lemon sherbet/mineral undertones.
Long, elegant and finely balanced, this tightly focused riesling has a bright, almost translucent bouquet of pear, apple and lime lifted by delicate scents of white flowers. ItÕs intense but quite gentle, with pristine flavours of lime, apple and pear underpinned by a fine chalkiness before finishing with a tightly focused cut of citrusy acid.
A luscious but pristine and stylish fruit-focused riesling whose deep, floral and faintly musky perfume of rose petals, lime juice and lemon precedes a generous, spotlessly clean and evenly paced presence of marginally sweet and evenly ripened fruit wrapped neatly in a tightly focused, racy acidity. ItÕs long, mouthfilling and artfully balanced.
