    Seppeltsfield Uber Shiraz 2012
    Jeremy’s score 93/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Fresh cedar/vanilla oak and scents of cracked pepper lift the violets, cassis and dark plum aromas of ripe Barossa shiraz. Its luscious expression of dark, marginally sour-edged fruit and polished new oak extends rich and juicy towards a long, faintly spirity finish.

    Seppeltsfield Watervale Riesling 2020
    Jeremy’s score 94/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Classically shapely and generous, with a zesty bouquet of pear, lemon and lime juice lifted by scents of lavender and white flowers. It’s long and mouthfilling, with a fine, chalky spine beneath a pristine core of lime, lemon juice and apple skin-like flavour, extending long and dry towards a refreshingly brittle finish of racy acidity.

  • Serafino Tempranillo 2024
    Jeremy’s score 90/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $24.00

Well, who needs to go to Spain for a truly slurpable tempranillo at a friendly price? Serafino have been making this wine for some time, so it’s no surprise that they’ve created such an enjoyable wine from the 2024 vintage. Scented with violets, spice, blackberries, blueberries and dark chocolate, with a rich core of sumptuous fruit that rolls smoothly down a long, slatey backbone towards a fresh, lingering finish of dark cherries and a hint of licorice. Delicious indeed, right on the varietal money and ready to open.

  • Serrat Chardonnay 2022
    Jeremy’s score 97/100

    $55.00

A stunning, seamless and beautifully measured chardonnay whose pristine fragrance of grapefruit, lemon, white peach and creamy vanilla oak reveals nuances of coriander, oyster shell, lime and and lemongrass. It’s smooth, gentle and almost fluffy palate has a baby fat-like richness before extending with a wonderful drive of fruit towards a stylish finish of gentle acidity, leaving lingering notes of smoked meats and minerals.

  • Serrat Chardonnay 2023
    Jeremy’s score 96/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $60.00

Artfully made and finely balanced, with a complex fragrance of grapefruit, lemon, white peach and tightly balanced vanilla oak backed by suggestions of coriander, mineral and oyster shell. Give it time for its palate to deliver all its latent depth and richness – it becomes remarkably weighty and round, with a mouthfilling core of fruit that drives long and stylish towards a refreshing, dry finish. Excellent.

    Serrat Pinot Noir 2024
    Jeremy’s score 92/100

    Rated 0 out of 5
    $55.00

Brightly lit aromas of red berries and cherries with cedary oak undertone sand bright floral lift precede a palate whose rich, generous, presence and core of fruit drives down a gentle, but firmish spine towards a lively finish that’s both persistent and refreshing. Upon opening there was a distinctive greenish edge about the wine, but I’m pleased to report that it dissipated with aeration (in this case at least one day). It’s well balanced, full of flavour and has the structure and texture to improve for some years.
