Very classy, polished wine whose deep, dark small berry flavours are knit with sweet fine-grained cedary oak and lifted by pungent earthy, dusty and lightly herby complexity. Elegant, very stylish, with vibrant small berries, bright acids, tight-knit ripe tannins and Medoc-like undergrowth influences.
Some rather skilled winemaking lurks beneath the surface of this firm, rather complex and developing Margaret River red blend whose sumptuous, succulent palate reveals velvet-smooth tannins and fine-grained new oak. There’s a green thread throughout its herby small berry fruit, but its attractive earthy, leathery and dark olive development suggests it will develop quite well.
The wine that cements Voyager Estate within Margaret River’s red wine elite? It’s a de luxe, sumptuous Bordeaux blend with a complete, complex structure based around perfectly ripened dark berry and plum fruit. There’s a trace of herby and minty complexity and an alluring fragrance of violets, cassis and fine smoky oak. Wonderfully long, balanced and savoury, it will live for decades.
There’s a constant suggestion of greenness and sappiness throughout this otherwise finely crafted red blend, which is still likely to cellar very well. Its penetrative and concentrated aromas of cassis and plums carry a light tobacco note, while around the light herbaceousness are hints of undergrowth, meat and capsicum. It’s firm and tight, still closed and reserved, but has the intensity and length to develop well.

Superbly balanced and revealing exceptional length of flavour, it should develop into a regional classic.
Very stylish, measured and elegant, this supple and long-term cabernet blend has a fragrant perfume of redcurrant, violets, mulberries over cedary, chocolate and vanilla-like oak and musky nuances of dried herbs. Smooth and silky, its tightly focused and evenly balanced palate of pristine cassis, red berry and dark chocolate is neatly enmeshed with fine-grained oak and an undercurrent of fine tannin.
Powerful, ripe and handsomely crafted, this very assertive and firmly structured cabernet blend delivers a plush, concentrated and meaty expression of liqueur cherry, dark chocolate, blackberry and cedary flavour underpinned by polished, creamy oak and firm, but pliant tannin. From its heady, violet-like perfume to its lingering palate that builds towards a heady crescendo, itÕs very impactful and stylish. Aeration reveals more elegance and herbal undertones.
Very stylish and composed, this complete, long and elegant cabernet blend has a deep, dark and alluring bouquet of berries, plums and cedar/vanilla oak with underlying nuances of chocolate and dried herbs. ItÕs long and smooth, with a pristine presence of vibrant black and red berries closely knit with tight-grained oak and fine, crunchy tannins. Long and persistent, it finishes with lingering flavours of vibrant fruit, a suggestions of herbs and refreshing acids. Top class.
A superbly balanced, elegant and focused red of exceptional charm and integrity. Dusty, faintly herbal and leafy aromas of pristine cassis, dark cherries and fresh cedar/vanilla oak reveal undertones of mint, underbrush and a hint of smokiness. ItÕs supple, smooth and polished, with an exceptional length of pure, vibrant fruit underpinned by pliant, tight-knit tannins. Likely to evolve slowly.
