A maturing, balanced, shorter-term chardonnay whose buttery bouquet of peach, nectarine and sweet vanilla and clove-like oak has a background of wheatmeal and nutmeg. Long, taut and tangy, its nutty, mealy palate of quince, lemon and cumquat-like fruity finishes with light undertones of cheesy and meaty complexity.
Smooth and juicy, with restrained, slightly candied peach, melon and lemony fruit and cashew/vanilla oak backed by spicy suggestions of cloves and cinnamon, plus a pleasing mineral aspect. ItÕs long and tangy, with a lingering lemon sherbet texture and a refreshing, mineral finish of tropical flavour.
An elegant young chardonnay whose fruit is likely to lift and freshen. A lightly nutty, spicy perfume of melon and peach is backed by some pretty aromatic French oak. Smooth and polished, with surprising viscosity and texture, it remains reserved and restrained, in a juicy, if elegant style backed by nutty, waxy and creamy influences and fine, dusty phenolics. As its fruit develops, its slightly hot finish will settle down.
Charmingly balanced and elegant, with a fresh, zesty bouquet of grapefruit, melon and lemon rind backed by fresh vanilla and clove-like oak. Long, smooth, with a deep core of intense stonefruit, melon and citrus flavour handsomely partnered by spicy oak, it finishes long, fresh and savoury.
Elegant, stylish and savoury, with a pure core of fruit tightly knit with creamy oak, this delicate, lightly spicy
chardonnay is scented with floral aromas of peach, nectarine and cashew, lifted by waxy notes of cloves,
ginger and vanilla. ItÕs long and restrained, with fresh melon/peach flavour and nutty oak finishing with a hint
of spice and soft acidity.
A vibrant, elegant step upwards in quality for this label. Scented with fresh pear, apple and stonefruit knit with restrained but fragrant oak, itÕs lifted with scents of white flowers, cinnamon and nutmeg. Long, smooth and gentle, itÕs fine and silky, with a gentle presence of pear, apple and lemony fruit backed by nuances of melon. Wrapped in fresh acids and revealing a seamless length and suppleness, itÕs finely balanced and structured.
Light aromas of apple, pear and peach with creamy vanilla undertones precede a smooth, juicy but handsomely oaked and slightly withdrawn palate that will take some time to evolve its nutty, nougat-like complexity, charm and smoothness.
Finely balanced, restrained and creamy with a fresh lemony and peachy bouquet of modest intensity backed by fresh vanilla oak and a faint chalkiness. Reserved melon, peach-like and lemony fruit is slightly overawed by creamy vanilla and biscuity oak, but finishes with length, a refreshing citrusy acidity plus an evolving hint of waxiness. The fruit will flesh out in time, delivering pleasing depth of flavour and integration.
