A beautiful example of Margaret River semillon, with lightly toasty, vanilla and butter-like nuances beneath some pretty, nettley and cut-grass-like semillon whose juicy melon and citrusy flavours are handsomely enhanced with creamy lees-derived influences. ItÕs tightly focused and wrapped up with a zesty dose of acidity and delivers a length and brightness that stays and stays with you.
Voluptuous, ripe and juicy, this assertive, complex and racy young semillon has a crystal-bright but smoky and slightly candied bouquet of melon and lemon backed by asparagus, nettles and snow peas. Underpinned by smoky vanilla French oak, its slightly viscous palate of typically ripe and under-ripe character finishes with racy acids and a sour-edged aspect. Give it time.
A classic regional semillon with a nutty, slightly toasty bouquet of fresh melon and lime juice lifted by a scent of white flowers and backed by a hint of grassiness and vanilla oak. Long and luscious, itÕs evenly paced, revealing a purity of fruit and precision, underscored by a fine chalkiness and tightly drilled by a clean, tangy finish of lemony acids. Great freshness and focus.
Effortless and elegant, with a lightly smoky bouquet of melon, tropical fruits and fresh, creamy vanilla oak backed by light grassy notes and a hint of tobacco. While it loses its way marginally towards the finish, itÕs supple and restrained, revealing a fine tension between fruit and oak over which the fruit easily wins, before finishing with fresh, slightly bitey lemony acids.
Stylish and beautifully presented, with a bright, faintly herbaceous and smoky bouquet whose pristine aromas of nectarine, peach and melon knit tightly with nutty, creamy vanilla oak. Its smooth, brightly lit palate of lightly herbal melon fruit and fresh oak is long and finely crafted, with a pleasing core of persistent flavour that finishes supple and savoury, with a gentle acidity.
