A stable, long and finely textured riesling whose faintly spicy bouquet of lime juice and lemon is lifted by scents of white flowers and chalkiness. Vibrant and racy, with an intense, translucent expression of lemon zest and lime juice, it culminates in a brisk and balanced finish of marginal sweetness and refreshing acidity.
Delicate, floral aromas of apple and pear precede a lean, tangy palate whose vibrant lime juice flavours extend towards an ethereal, subtle finish of brisk acidity. Lacks its typical intensity and focus.
Trim, taut and streamlined young riesling laced with lavender, pear, apple, lime and lemon, extending long and focused towards a brittle finish of steely, citrusy acids.
A pristine, spotlessly made Clare Valley riesling scented with lavender, lime juice, lemon sherbet and apple skin. Long and chalky, its tangy, citrusy and pear-like palate is wrapped in a bright, lemony acidity, finishing with great drive and an artful balance between fruit, texture and acidity. As ever, exceptional value and cellaring potential.
Deeply ripened black, red and blue fruits with fresh smoky mocha oak and a firmish, gravelly spine. Leathery, earthy and chocolatey scents with notes of musk, menthol and mineral precede a sumptuous palate of fullish to medium weight that finishes with freshness and length. Give it plenty of time to breathe.
A robust, long-term shiraz that steadily softens with aeration to reveal a charming core of faintly minty, meaty flavours of black and red fruits and a fine, firmish mineral spine. There’s a suggestion of eucalypt and some leathery development.
