With a delicate dusty honeysuckle bouquet of lightly spicy citrus fruit and minerals, and a soft, refreshing palate of considerable length and a nutty, dry finish, this is a typical Tahbilk Marsanne with good medium term cellaring potential.
A delightful example of this Victorian favourite, whose lightly nutty aromas of melon and citrus fruits precedes a lightly herbal, but smooth, generous and almost oily palate whose tangy, juicy fruit qualities build in the mouth towards a long, savoury, lemony finish. Truckloads of fruit and freshness.
One of the best wines yet under this label, with a nutty, honeysuckle fragrance of citrus and lightly reductive, stony influences. Lean and elegant, its bright and minerally expression of tangy citrus and melon fruit is long and austere, finishing clean and savoury with racy acids. Keep it if you can.
Spicy aromas of honeysuckle and lemon sherbet precede a generous and juicy palate whose mouthfilling flavours of lemon rind and honeydew melon are backed by nuances of minerals and tangerine. It finishes long and clean, with a bright, vibrant and citrusy acidity.
Packed with melon and stonefruit flavour, this generous, juicy and slightly confectionary young white is long, clean and evenly fruited, finishing clean, dry and savoury with refreshing lemony acids.
