Smoky, cedary and cigarboxy, this superb mature cabernet reveals the complexity anticipated when great expressions are laid down to cellar. Still revealing bright black and red fruits and suggestions of tobacco and dried herbs, itÕs long, complete and vivaciously wrapped in a vibrant acidity. Underpinned by fine, slatey tannins, it extends with style, balance and harmony to a finish of exceptional drive and balance. Still tightly ordered and regimental, itÕs now a mature wine, but one with the capacity to mature for many years yet.
An honest, uncomplicated and firmish young cabernet with an earthy, spearmint-like bouquet of dark plums and sweet berries backed by dark chocolate/cedary oak and herbal nuances. Robust and quite concentrated, its minty palate of dark berries, plums and assertive sweet oak is firmly gripped by tight-knit chalky tannins, but finishes with faintly green edges.
A moderately rich, lightly minty and menthol-like cabernet whose cassis and violet-like fragrance reveals undertones of vanilla/chocolate/cedar oak. Its long, drying and chewy palate of rich blackberry, mulberry and plum-like fruit finishes with vibrant acids and a chalky mouthfeel.
Vibrant, intense and minty, with violet-like aromas of cassis and sweet chocolate/vanilla/cedar oak backed by nuances of mocha and menthol. Delightfully fresh and punchy, its moderately rich palate of cassis, blackberry, mulberry and plum-like fruit is yet to flesh out fully and integrate with a firm but balanced extract of drying, chalky tannins. Long and persistent, itÕs finished with a fresh acidity.
Deeply flavoured, firm and drying, this dark and minty cabernet has a sweet fragrance of cassis mulberries, plums and cedar/vanilla oak lifted by nuances of dried herbs and menthol. Smooth and silky, itÕs long, intense palate of dark berry/plum fruit is woven around a robust, rod-like backbone and tightly knit with cedary oak, finishing with length and balance.
