Smoky, cedary and cigarboxy, this superb mature cabernet reveals the complexity anticipated when great expressions are laid down to cellar. Still revealing bright black and red fruits and suggestions of tobacco and dried herbs, itÕs long, complete and vivaciously wrapped in a vibrant acidity. Underpinned by fine, slatey tannins, it extends with style, balance and harmony to a finish of exceptional drive and balance. Still tightly ordered and regimental, itÕs now a mature wine, but one with the capacity to mature for many years yet.

Robust and quite concentrated, its minty palate of dark berries, plums and assertive sweet oak is firmly gripped by tight-knit chalky tannins, but finishes with faintly green edges.
