Very floral and perfumed, this very generously flavoured and structured riesling has an open, heady aroma of lime juice and rose petals, apples and pears. Its quite broad and almost oily palate presents a pleasing length of concentrated, slightly spicy and confectionary citrus flavours before an austere and dry finish.
Rather toasty for its tender age, this forward, generous and early-maturing riesling opens with a delicate floral, lemon rind and limey aroma backed by buttery, toffee and caramel-like notes. Mouthfilling and generous, its slightly sweet-sour fruit expression culminates in a steely acidic finish, but becomes rather broad, lacking customary tightness and focus. It finishes with a hint of cooked, apricot-like fruit.
A long, chalky, balanced and stylish young riesling whose piercing fragrance of lime juice, lemon rind and white flowers reveals undertones of minerals and chalk. ItÕs round, generous and juicy, with a luscious expression of concentrated fruit tightly woven around a fine, powdery spine of baby powder-like texture. Set for the long term.
Heady, floral and perfumed, with a musky scent of white flowers, lavender, lime juice, green apple and lemon pith, this very refined and naturally balanced riesling reveals layers of crystal-clear fruit underpinned by very fine, chalky phenolics. ItÕs beautifully focused, with a piercing presence of flavour that streamlines tightly towards a fresh, zesty finish of brittle, citrusy acids. Exceptionally long and classy.
Sumptuous and concentrated, this powerful and assertive, long-term riesling has a pungent bouquet of lime juice, pear and lemon rind, spicy yeasty notes and a deep underlying perfume of white flowers. ItÕs round and luscious, with a juicy, creamy texture extending towards a long, citrusy finish of crisp acidity.
A round, generous and rather voluptuous young riesling whose bright perfume of lemon sherbet, lavender and white flowers overlies a scent of white peach and apple. Its forward, rather viscous palate of fresh citrusy fruit has a faintly greenish edge. It finishes with a hint of residual sweetness finely balanced by a fresh, limey acidity. Perhaps influenced to a minor degree by botrytis.
Very elegant, long and focused, this spicy, ripe and citrusy riesling has a perfume of lavender and white flowers, lime juice, apple and pear. ItÕs long and brightly lit, with a tangy, almost tropical expression of citrus fruit underpinned by a fine chalkiness. It finishes with a lingering spiciness and a tightly focused acidity.
