It offers deep dark berry flavours which despite a balanced spine of fine-grained tannin just breaks up a fraction at the finish, leaving a slightly rubbery and reductive aftertaste.

Its sweet, heady bouquet of violets, jujube-like blueberries, blackberries and cassis is backed by cedar/chocolate vanilla oak, while its luscious, silky-smooth palate of fine length and full to medium weight reveals a full spectrum of ripe and just slightly meaty and raisined fruits. ThereÕs plenty of richness, weight and presence, with a lingering impression of juicy flavour and harmony.
