With some of the juicy roundness of a modern Alsatian riesling, this creamy and generously flavoured wine has a chalky chassis of fine Eden Valley phenolics. Its delicate floral aromas of citrusy and apple-like fruit have a pleasing dusty earthiness, while lemony/limey acids tightly define the slightly oily palate.
Intense, penetrative lime juice and lemon rind aromas with a floral, mineral and bathpowder-like background precede a long, tangy and tightly focused palate punctuated by refreshing acidity. There’s a slightly candied and overripe aspect about the fruit, but it’s still a delightful wine that finishes long, lean and stylishly taut.
Delicate floral aromas of apple, pear and lemon rind overlie nuances of minerals and dried herbs. Long and lean, its rather schisty, tart and austere palate delivers a zesty cut of tightly focused citrus flavours, finishing with attractive length. It’s still rather subdued and youthful, and while it lacks the opulence of other vintages, is likely to emerge into a finely crafted wine.

ItÕs fresh and pure, tightly focused and austere, with a long, bright presence of lime juice and pithy lemon flavour above a mineral texture, finishing long and fresh, with tightly focused acidity.
Long and shapely, this fresh and focused riesling delivers a crystalline expression of pure lime juice, pear and apple flavour lifted by scents of white flowers and backed by suggestions of chalk and mineral. It’s pure and evenly paced, with a brilliance of fruit underpinned by a schisty, textured lick of wet slate. Excellent balance and future.
