    Pauletts Aged Release Riesling 2008
    Jeremy’s score 93/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Developing quite quickly but along classical lines, this generous, toasty and honeyed riesling reveals fresh, voluminous but slightly oily and buttery aromas of lime and lemon fruit backed by waxy complexity. Round and creamy, its pleasing length of buttered toast, lime and lemon meringue flavour is underpinned by a fine chalkiness before finishing with a taut, steely edge. Very complete and finely balanced.

    Jeremy’s score 93/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

A stylish and steadily developing riesling with a long way to go. Its complex, faintly honeyed and buttery, waxy bouquet of toasty, fruit and sweet floral notes precedes a luscious but tightly focused and unctuous core of fruit supported by a fine chalkiness and wrapped in a bright, shapely cut of lemony acids. It finishes with exemplary length and savoury, buttery aspects.
