Now opening up with richness and roundness, this finely crafted and mineral chardonnay has a lightly toasty bouquet of crystal-clear melon and citrus fruit deftly knit with sweet oak and a hint of grilled nuts. Underpinned by a fine chalkiness, its generous, slightly fatty presence of quince, melon and grapefruit flavour fills the mouth but ties in tightly towards a shapely, refreshing finish of exceptional length and focus.
Finely balanced, with controlled power and richness, this complex and mineral chardonnay has a slightly funky, smoky bouquet of grapefruit, melon and yellow flowers backed by waxy suggestions of ginger and lanolin, plus a hint of bacon. Taut and linear, with a rich but translucently clear presence of assertive melon and grapefruit flavour tightly knit with fresh oak, it finishes long and focused, with an increasingly rich and fatty palate tightly wrapped in a taut acidity and ending in savoury nuances of grilled nuts.
Elegant and sweetly fruited, this pungent and lightly meaty, funky young chardonnay has quite an deep yellow colour and reveals a spicy and floral bouquet of sweet melon, citrus, tropical fruits and vanilla oak backed by waxy complexity. Medium to full-bodied, it’s forward and juicy with an intense core of very closed grapefruit, lemon and stonefruit flavour that slowly extends towards a fine, crystalline, citrus and faintly mineral finish. Luscious, round and generous, packed with luxuriant flavour that rolls seamlessly towards a waxy, savoury finish of mouthwatering acids, this translucently bright chardonnay has a smoky, faintly meaty and mineral bouquet of melon, nougat and candied citrus fruit backed by notes of wild flowers and grilled nuts. It steadily reveals more length and drive of peach-like flavour, delivering both power and harmony.
