Complex, Chablis-like and chalky, with a nose of dusty citrus/cumquat flavours, vanilla oak and complex bound sulphides. An excellent length of flavour builds to crescendo on the palate before a restrained finish with mineral acids.
Classically restrained and delicate with fragrant melon/peach aromas lifted by light creamy and vanilla lees and oak-derived complexity. Fine, long and minerally, it reveals typical citrusy lemon zest and quince fruit with fresh melon influence before finishing long and savoury with high-toned acids.
Luxuriant Yarra Valley chardonnay whose pristine aromas and fleshy ripe texture of juicy melon, peach and grapefruit flavours are offset by fine-grained buttery oak and punctuated by crystal-clear mineral acids. Long and elegant, with exemplary balance.
Fine, elegant, Yarra Valley chardonnay destined for cellaring. Its floral perfume and aromas of peach, honeysuckle and melon are enhanced by restrained nutty, clove-like vanilla oak. Supple, fine and restrained; a more lean and flinty style than its predecessor, it opens up to reveal a deep core of pristine varietal flavour. Just the sort of thing to return the ABCs to the fold.
