Wonderfully restrained and elegant wine made along similar lines to the best of the Penfolds Reserve Eden Valley Rieslings. Slightly herbal and spicy undertones pervade its slatey rose petal-like fragrance. Almost Alsatian in style, its palate begins with sumptuously intense fruit that becomes fleshy and round in the middle, before a long, fine and supple finish of superb shape, dryness and sheer tanginess of fruit. Startlingly different.
This tightly focused and bone-dry riesling offers a heady aroma of lime, lemon and floral perfume. Slightly confectionary, its long and finely sculpted palate of juicy citrus fruit is tightly focused and balanced by refreshing acids. Should develop beautifully.
A slatey, bone-dry and austere young riesling whose limey, mineral and floral, honeysuckle-like aromas precede a long, fine and tightly sculpted palate. There’s plenty of juicy lime and lemon flavour over a finely textured backbone. Long and refreshing, it’s likely to age very well.
A deeply flavoured and stylish cellaring expression of riesling whose fresh, spicy aromas of citrus and honeysuckle precede a long, dry and profoundly textured palate whose luscious presence of intense pear, apple and lemon-like flavours are tightly wrapped in racy acids. Great presence and depth in the mouth, but retains genuine elegance.
Slatey and mineral, with a piercingly fresh and limey fragrance of white flowers and lemon rind. Its long palate of bright lime, pear and apple flavour has a fine bathpowder-like texture, finishing bracingly dry with tangy, lemony acids and a hint of brine.
Shapely and measured, this intensely flavoured and entirely dry riesling has a pure, floral and faintly tropical bouquet of lime juice, green apple skin and lemon zest. ItÕs very clear and juicy, with generous flavours of apple and citrus fruits underpinned by a fine crunchiness, extending long and brightly lit towards a crisp, tightly focused finish.
Attractive and shapely, with a fresh, mineral bouquet of lemon butter, lime juice and sherbet lifted by faintly spicy, floral notes. ItÕs long and brittle, with lively citrusy notes backed by flavours of pear and apple, finishing with mouthwatering acids and a spicy note.
Translucently clear, with lime juice and lemon pith over a fine chalkiness. Taut and clean.
