Dusty, spicy and slatey aromas of estery lime, lemon and apple-like fruit precede a juicy, round and generous palate of fine length and a powdery phenolic backbone. Smooth and silky, but finishes with a faint suggestion of varnish.
Rather awkward and edgy, with a delicate, musky perfumed of lime juice and lemon sherbet before a forward, rather disjointed palate whose fruit appears slightly under and over-ripe. Made from stressed fruit, it finishes with angular acidity and a sweet-sour aspect.
Reserved and willowy, with a heady, musky bouquet of rose petals, apple and pear with spicy, chalky undertones. ItÕs fine, supple and forward, with a gentle, dusty presence of juicy lemon, pear and apple-like flavour finishing with moderate length and shape, but also a slightly angular acidity. It lacks the drive of fruit for a higher rating.
Long and pure, with an exuberant, crystal-clear fragrance of white flowers, lime juice, apple and pear backed by nuances of chalk and mineral. ItÕs luscious, complete and deeply flavoured, with a sumptuous length of pristine fruit underpinned by tingling, chalky suggestions of minerals and bath powder, finishing with citrus and tropical notes plus a hint of sweetness delightfully focused around a racy acidity.
Tightly focused, pure and elegant, with an intense bouquet of lemon rind and lime juice lifted by a pristine but faintly chalky scent of white flowers, itÕs long and evenly paced, with piercing lime juice and lemon flavours supported by a fine slatey backbone. briny and mineral, itÕs wrapped in racy acidity, finishing with fine length and intensity.
Edgy, dry and deliciously precise, this fresh, nervy young riesling has a heady, floral and deeply perfumed bouquet of lavender and lime juice lifted by youthfully tropical, estery notes. ItÕs piercingly intense, with a long, smooth and juicy presence of tangy citrusy fruit that finishes with tightly focused, lemony acids.
Dry and refreshing, with punchy, penetrative notes of lime juice, lemon zest, white peach and apple underpinned by a fine dustiness and lifted by scents of white flowers and lavender. Long and complete, with a refreshing acidity, itÕs nothing short of exceptional value.
