Dripping with pristine, opulent and perfectly focused cabernet flavours of dark berries, plums and cherries, it drives long and velvety down a firmish spine of powdery tannins that become more mineral with aeration. Flaunting rare balance and structure, it’s a stunning marriage of elegance and outstanding varietal quality. Drinking now and for the next two decades and longer.
A finely crafted, elegant chardonnay with appealing complexity beneath its bright, translucent varietal fruit. A crystalline bouquet of grapefruit, pineapple and tropical fruits backed by nuances of minerals and smoky, matchstick oak precedes a concentrated, chalky palate whose deep core of grapefruit and lemon rind flavour moves seamlessly towards a long, tangy and mineral finish wrapped in tight, zesty acids.
Lifted by fresh floral notes, deeply layered scents of melon, peach and citrus knit tightly with tight-grained oak and overlie complex creamy, nutty nuances. Its pristine, juicy core of luscious melon, peach and grapefruit flavour delivers a fattiness and roundness that extends long and seamless down a gentle, dusty spine towards a finish of texture, freshness and focus. If leaves and impression of plushness and minerality that superbly offsets the depth and translucent purity of its fruit. Stunning.
