A sound, honest regional wine with just the faintest hint of baked fruit. Scented with violets, cassis, mulberries and plums backed by cedar and capsicum, itÕs supple and elegant, with a polished palate of sweet cassis, plum and mulberry flavour knit with smoky oak, a hint of leafiness and underpinned by silky tannins.
Supple and elegant, long and evenly ripened, scented with sweet, musky aromas of cassis, blackberries, violets backed by a hint of briar and menthol. Underpinned by smooth, fine-grained tannins, its vibrant dark fruit and measured oak finish long and fresh, with a hint of savoury saltiness.
Genuinely elegant and regional, this finely crafted Coonawarra cabernet has a sweet fragrance of juicy cassis, dark plums, dried herbs and mulberries laced with scents of blue flowers and knit with fresh cedar/vanilla oak. Fullish to medium in weight, itÕs long and deeply layered, with a faintly minty presence of black and red berries and cedary oak supported by firm, fine, drying tannins and finishing with a faintly herbal edge.
A very elegant and finely balanced long-term wine of some class. Its deep aromas of cassis, raspberries, mulberries, red cherries and fresh cedar/vanilla oak reveal a minty regional note, a scent of violets and a suggestion of dried herbs. ItÕs long, firm and pliant, with a tight-knit undercarriage building towards a gravelly strength and crunchy texture towards the finish, with deep cassis, dark plum, mulberry and cedary flavours revealing undertones of dark chocolate and minerals.
Charming and stylish with a delicate, violet-like perfume of cassis, mulberries and dark plums tightly knit with fresh cedar/vanilla oak. Long and fine-grained, with a lingering core of pristine fruit, cedary oak and faint nuances of dried herbs, itÕs supported by dusty, firmish tannins and finishes with a bright, polished acidity.
An elegant, medium to full-bodied dry red with a briary, spicy expression of small black and red fruits tightly wound around a fine, dusty undercarriage and punctuated by a fresh, vibrant acidity. Laced with nuances of spice and tomato stalk and backed by meaty, gamey aspects, its deep, penetrative core of fruit has a slightly baked currant-like aspect, but plenty of depth of ripe, sumptuous flavour.
