Elegant and tightly focused, this dusty, faintly herbal shiraz has the length and structure to flesh out nicely. Its retrained smoky and floral bouquet of dark berries, cherries, plums and cedar/chocolate oak is lifted by a meaty presence of animal hide and ethereal, musky spices. Long and supple, with a retrained presence of vibrant, faintly sour-edged fruit, it finishes with a gentle extract, fresh acids and a lingering fruitfulness.

Stylish, linear and focused, this meaty, earthy shiraz has a wild, briary and musky bouquet of blackberries, dark plums and chocolate/cedar oak backed by notes of smoked meats, exotic spices and dried herbs. Fullish to medium in weight, its dark, palate-staining flavours of blackberries, cassis, dark plums and fresh cedary oak are wrapped around a fine, loose-knit spine of firmish, powdery tannins. Finished by a fresh, taut acidity, itÕs perhaps reminiscent of fine Cornas.

A spicy, musky bouquet of blackberries, redcurrants, blood plums and smoky cedary oak lifted by sweet floral notes and suggestions of cracked pepper reveals nuances of menthol and dried herbs. Medium to fullish in weight, itÕs long and gentle, with a supple expression of pristine ripe red and black fruits artfully knit with oak and underpinned by a fine, drying spine of crunchy tannins. It finishes with a lingering core of fruit, soft acidity and charming balance.

Elegant and translucently bright, this gentle and pristine pinot has a deeply scented perfume of rose petals, red cherries and fresh cedar/vanilla oak backed by notes of dusty dried herbs, a whiff of pepper and a suggestion of snap pea. Underpinned by a fine silkiness, itÕs luscious and quite concentrated, with a purity of vivacious fruit and finely balanced oak culminating in a long and refreshing finish. It should shed its herbal aspects with age.
